There are many publicly available fields in Pangaea, but [[player]]s can buy pieces of land and make their own fields and even surround it with a fence.

If the [[player]] owns a field, which can be bought in the same manner as [[house]]s, they can plant seeds which become harvestable plants. Seeds can be crafted, as well as bought from a farmer [[NPC]].

Neon has fixed a bug with field planting that was allowing people to have ultra-high-density fields, beyond what was intended. This should no longer be possible.
For the time being, nothing will happen to grandfathered fields that were planted in this way (however we are making no promises that a change may not occur in the future).
