All templates are special to each wiki because they have to be implemented. They might be derived from other wikis, gain from shared knowledge, but they are in most cases adjusted to suit the needs of each wiki.

:It is best to contact [[User:MyraMidnight|MyraMidnight]] if you think we require new templates, but if you are confident in your template skills, then feel free to try your hand at it.

Do not worry about adjusting them though, because if the template is deemed essential and might cause a chain reaction of broken templates if changed incorrectly, then they are simply locked and only admins can edit them.
