Animal Lore affects a tamer's ability to tame creatures and more generally character's ability in controlling larger creatures by granting a character more pet slots. It also affects a character's ability to heal and cure pets when using the [[Veterinary]] skill. Animal Lore also has a secondary name on Pangaea and that is Druidry, the reason for this is that it also directly affects a [[Druid]]'s ability to cast their spells as well as the damage output of said spells.
