This will let you cast certain spells. The higher the skill the higher the circle you can cast. Magery affects the success rate of casting spells, other skills like [[Evaluating Intelligence]], [[Animal lore]] and [[Spirit Speak]] affect the strength of the spells. Evaluating intelligence makes normal spells stronger, while animal lore and spirit speak make Druid and Necromancer spells stronger respectfully.

A good [[Meditation]] skill also helps, since you use that to regenerate the mana necessary to cast the spells.
