The [[paperdoll]] displays the ''[[avatar]]'' of [[player]]s and other human [[NPC]]s. It is also the main navigation in UO client. It contains important menu buttons such as ''options'' and ''logout'' as well as showing you how good your character looks, and it can be somewhat easier to notice the character's gender from the paperdoll rather than in-game sprite. There are a few ways to open the paperdoll.

* Select ''Paperdoll'' from the menu bar
* Double-click the character on the screen.
* Use a macro

== Equipment ==
The paperdoll displays what the [[player]] or [[NPC]] is wearing: [[clothing]], [[armor]], [[weapon]]s and [[jewelry]].

You can drag wearable items onto your avatar to equip them, as well as dragging them off your avatar to unequip.
