* Legendary handbook of (random skill) - can provide 0.1% gain in the respective skill up to 105%
* Master handbook of (random skill) - can provide 0.1% gain in the respective skill up to 100%
* Expert handbook of (random skill) - can provide 0.1% gain in respective skill up to 85%
* Apprentice handbook of (random skill) - can provide 0.1% gain in respective skill up to 65%

* Easy-medium monsters generally drop books with low level (65% / 85%)
* Hard-very hard monsters are left with the best books (100% / 105%)
* Nothing short of Legendary books will increase [[heighten]]ed skills, a Master handbook is not enough for a skill even if it normally caps out at 85 for your class.
