ICQ is a messenger program, which is actively used by players on Ultima Online.
- Sending messages through ICQ is often referred to as "Sending a bird" when including it in a RolePlay setting. Since a old way to communicate over long distances was to send messenger pigeons.
- Unlike most other messengers programs, the ICQ does not use usernames or emails, but a 9 digit number.
