Obsidian Shards can now be mined as ore veins, Tinkers can create obsidian from these shards at a rate of 1 obsidian for every two shards.
- Tinkers can craft it into special mounts
- Alchemist can use it for extracting essences
- Tinker needs it when making jewelry
- Aso used as a Reagent for some Druid and Necromancer spells
