List of Logs

List of logs/woodtypes on pangaea.

Logs can be used by bowyer to create bows and staffs out of them. Some of the logs have special effects as weapons. Logs can be also used by carpenter to create decorative items.

Wood	Description
Regular tree	This is the only log type that tinkers can work with
Apple tree	Has chance to drain health when wielding weapon made out of apple tree.
Banana tree	When wielding weapon made out of banana tree, your hits have chance to paralyze the enemy.
Cedar	No special effects in weapons.
Coconut	When wielding weapon made out of coconut your hits have a chance to cause staggering effect (your opponent gets knocked back few tiles).
Cypress	Cypress has high damage as a weapon.
Date	When wielding weapon made out of date, you have a chance to drain mana from your enemy on hit.
O'hii	O'hii has high damage as a weapon.You can also create cold arrows/bolts from O'hii.
Oak	When wielding weapon made out of Oak you have a chance to drain enemys stamina.
Peach tree	No special effects in weapons.
Pear tree	When wielding weapon made out of pear, you have a chance to silence your enemy on hit.
Walnut	When wielding walnut weapon you have a chance to drain mana when you hit your enemy.
Willow	No effect as weapon.
Yew	No effects as weapon. Arrows/bolts created out of yew deal electrical damage.
Yucca	Yucca is the preferable woodtype for making staves. Staves made out of yucca deal a lot of damage. Has a chance to drain stamina. Arrows and bolts made out of yucca are fire arrows/bolts.

Wooden Planks

When you use a saw on wooden logs, you create wooden planks.

• Blank Maps and Blank Pages can be created with a Smoothing Plane on planks.
• Fences can be created with a Moulding/Joining Plane
• Boats also require planks in their recipes
