Rubberbanding

Rubberbanding is caused by misinformation between the client and the shard. This can be experienced as the player's sprite will move through an object that the client thinks is passable (such as some brambles during fall, or water puddles in swampy forests) but is suddenly yanked back into place as if pulled by a rubber band because the server denies the movement done by the player.

This happens very noticeably during the fall season, when the O'hii trees are unavailable, and are visually displayed as brambles. Since trees are not passable, and the bramble bushes are normally passable, the client will try to walk through the bush as usual, but the shard gives the client the message that it's actually a impassable tree, the player is pulled back to the beginning position. Other areas it happens are swampy forests, there are little puddles of water cause the same mis-information.
