Field
From Pangaea Wiki
The fields are where the plants grow, most of them harvestable. They can be planted by the player if they happen to own a field.
Locations of Fields
There are many publicly available fields in Pangaea, but players can buy pieces of land and make their own fields and even surround it with a fence.
- Public Fields
- In the Newbie Grounds (only accessible by characters still in baseclass)
- South of Britain
- On the island Ocllo
Harvestable Plants
- Vegetables
- All sorts of vegetables can be found and eaten. Most can be used in cooking recipes
- Flax & Cotton
- These are base materials when creating cloth
- Hops
- Hops Cones are harvestable, but have not been implemented for any use.
Planting
If the player owns a field, which can be bought in the same manner as houses, they can plant seeds which become harvestable plants. Seeds can be crafted, as well as bought from a farmer NPC.

2013 11 26 http://pangaea-world.dk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=13633 Neon has fixed a bug with field planting that was allowing people to have ultra-high-density fields, beyond what was intended. This should no longer be possible. For the time being, nothing will happen to grandfathered fields that were planted in this way (however we are making no promises that a change may not occur in the future).
