The mage can use a spell to it’s full potential, though restricted to the use of her regular spellbook, and is therefore very deadly with her spells. The protection spells she has allows her to buffer up against physical attacks.

Mage hunting bonus
Mage as special ability that increases his casting speed, if he hunts with his own spells (elementals included).
- 26 hunt bonus = "Your casting is swift" = 10% faster casting
- 52 hunt bonus = "Your casting flows like art" = 20% faster casting
- 78 hunt bonus = "Your casting is extremely fast" = 30% faster casting
Hunt bonus "points" are equal to virtue gained/lost.
Each gained point will decay after 72 hours, meaning that you need to hunt continuously to keep the bonus casting speed.
Mage manaregeneration bonus
Mages have a higher natural mana regeneration rate than other magic user (3 mana per tick).
Small guide
Start off with 50str 10dex 10int, no you dont need int at start it will go up fast. Skills 50 meditation 30 magery 30 Resisting Spells.
Its suggestable to start off with these skills/starts, after this you will need to train/buy other skills to 20% and start hunt money for regeants to get magery to 65%. Intelligence will get to 75 after you are done training both magery and evaluating intelligence which are the two base skills that mages need.
