The merchant can become an expert in most areas, but his true strength lies in his profession – the skilled and mastered merchant will find his services very much needed and will have the possibility to earn himself a fortune by supplying the adventurers of these lands with what they might seek.

NPC Merchants are referred to as Vendors.

Merchant Professions

These are the classes a character can join to advance into a profession, once they have filled the requirements.

  • Alchemist - fighters love their potions
  • Animal tamer - when you need mounts and pets
  • Blacksmith - armors and weapons are their specialty
  • Bowyer - they provide ranged weapons, staffs and ammunition
  • Carpenter - they are provide many things, mainly decorations and boats.
  • Cook - They are sailors, bakers, farmers and miners all wrapped up in one class
  • Scribe - spellbooks and maps
  • Tailor - leather armors and clothing
  • Tinker - the tinker creates the tools everyone needs
