Tools of the Trade

The tailor only needs one tool, but there are a few other items associated wit tailoring

Sewing Kit

The Sewing Kit is the only tool the tailor needs to use for their crafting

  • Normal Sewing Kits are made by a tinker out of metal. It adopts the color of the ore used
  • Magical Sewing Kits are blue in color, and are used for blessing clothing
  • There is another Magical Sewing Kit, which is not blue in color, that lets the tailor craft enchanted leather armor

  • When you fail at crafting the item, you will lose part of the materials used
  • If you do not have enough materials, the item will not show on the menu

  1. Double-click the sewing kit and choose the clothing you wish to fortify
    • Only armor and clothing that occupy the same Equipment slot can be combined
  2. Choose the armor piece you wish to fortify it with
    • Fortified clothing cannot be dyed, but will adopt the coloration of the armor it was fortified with.

Tailoring with Leather

  • Crafting with Hides you create armor, boots, bags and other misc. objects

When making Armor (Leather/Studded) you will be asked if you wish to upgrade the item by using more materials (pressing ESC will skip this) so you can make a higher quality item. But keep in mind that you can break the item if you fail at upgrading it, and it will try to upgrade to highest possible.

  • Unlike cloth items, leather can not be dyed with a dying tub, but it keeps the color of the leather used.
